These terms apply when you use the LegStyle website, browse our cover styles, contact us, or place an order for a LegStyle cover.

In these terms, “LegStyle”, “we”, “us”, and “our” refer to LegStyle. “You” refers to the person using the website, enquiring about a cover, or placing an order, including clinicians and prosthetic providers where applicable.

Custom-made products

LegStyle covers are custom-made products. Each cover is made for a specific person, prosthesis, style, colour, and order specification.

Please check all style, colour, scan, measurement, trimline, hardware access, review, and order details carefully before approval and manufacture.

1) Website information

We aim to keep the information on this website accurate, useful, and up to date. However, product descriptions, colours, images, styles, materials, availability, and ordering information may change over time.

Colours and product appearance may vary depending on screen settings, lighting, material, manufacturing method, and the custom nature of each cover.

2) Clinical suitability

LegStyle covers are ordered and fitted with the involvement of clinicians or prosthetists. Information on this website is general product information and is not a substitute for clinical advice.

Your prosthetist or clinician is responsible for helping confirm whether a cover is suitable for your setup and for providing the required order information, scan information, and fitting context.

3) Orders

An order is not accepted until LegStyle has confirmed it, or until we have otherwise agreed to proceed in writing.

For clinician or provider orders, please use the current LegStyle order form and send completed order information, reference material, and PO details to:

We may decline, delay, or request clarification for an order if required information is missing, unclear, inconsistent, or outside our current manufacturing capability.

4) Reference material and consent

Orders may require scans, measurements, photos, order forms, and other reference material. If you send us information about another person, you must have the authority or consent needed to share that information with us for the purpose of making the cover.

Patient images, identifying information, scans, and personal information will not be used for marketing unless appropriate consent has been given.

5) Review and approval

Where review before manufacture is selected, LegStyle may provide renders or design images for approval before making the cover.

Approval helps confirm the intended style, shape, trimlines, and visible design features. Minor differences may still occur because each cover is manufactured as a physical custom product.

6) Pricing and payment

Pricing may depend on the product type, order pathway, funding arrangement, PO, custom requirements, and any agreed quote or invoice.

Unless otherwise agreed, payment, invoicing, shipping, and PO requirements will be handled according to the relevant ordering arrangement.

We may correct genuine pricing, description, or administrative errors where reasonably necessary.

7) Production and shipping

Production and delivery timeframes are estimates. Timing depends on complete order information, reference material, review requirements, manufacturing workload, and shipping.

8) Refunds, fit support, and issues

Because LegStyle covers are custom-made, change-of-mind refunds are not offered once a cover has been made.

If something is not right, or the cover does not fit or work as intended, please contact us as soon as practical. We will work with you and your clinician to assess the issue and find a fair, practical solution.

9) Care and use

LegStyle covers are designed for everyday use, including water exposure, but they still require reasonable care.

Damage caused by misuse, significant impact, cutting, modification, incorrect fitting, avoidable heat exposure, or failure to follow care guidance may not be treated as a product fault.

10) Intellectual property

The LegStyle name, branding, product designs, website content, images, drawings, documents, and related materials are owned by LegStyle or used with permission.

You may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, manufacture from, or commercially use LegStyle content or designs without our written permission.

You may share LegStyle product pages, order information, and documents with clinicians, prosthetic providers, funders, or patients for genuine ordering and clinical purposes.

11) Website use

You must not use this website in a way that is unlawful, misleading, harmful, abusive, or intended to interfere with the website, our systems, or other users.

You must not attempt to copy, scrape, reverse engineer, or misuse website content, product information, images, documents, or technical material for commercial purposes without our permission.

12) Third-party services

The LegStyle website is hosted and supported by third-party services, including Shopify. These services may process information as part of operating the website and providing ecommerce functionality.

Sales and orders are with LegStyle, not Shopify. Shopify is not responsible for LegStyle products, orders, fitting, production, or customer support.

To the extent permitted by law, LegStyle is not liable for indirect, consequential, or special loss arising from use of the website, delays, ordering errors, or use of a cover.

Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under New Zealand consumer law.

16) Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand. If you are ordering from outside New Zealand, you may also have rights under the laws of your own country or region.
