Make it your own

Put a picture that means something to you on your cover.

  1. Choose a picture

Use a drawing, a photo or free artwork. Bold, simple shapes work best.

No logos, brands, badges, characters or anything hurtful.

    Find free artwork

The Metropolitan Museum of Art lets anyone use these old artworks for free. A few that work well on a cover:

Open a picture you like, use its download button, then choose it here.

    Photographing a drawing?

Draw with a black felt pen or marker, not a pencil. Lay the paper flat in daylight and take the photo from straight above, with your shadow off the page.

    Artwork rules
    • Your own drawing or photo, free artwork like the collections above, or artwork you have permission or a licence to use on your cover. We are happy to credit the artist.
    • Not logos, brand names, or sports team and club badges.
    • Not characters from films, TV, games, comics or books, including your own drawings of them.
    • Not song lyrics or quotes from books.
    • Nothing hurtful, offensive or unsafe.
  2. Place it on your cover

Drag your picture on the flat cover to move it. Scroll over it, or pinch, to make it bigger or smaller. Turn the 3D cover to look around it.

  3. Send your design

Download your design file, then send it to your clinician or to us. Screen colours are a guide: for more skin tones, ask your clinician to show you our swatches, or to ask us for a set.

Your design stays yours: any copyright you hold stays with you. You let LegStyle use it to make your cover, and to remake it if needed. We keep it with your order records, and use it for nothing else unless you say yes to photos or sharing.

    What this means

The photos help others see what is possible. We never show a design that shows a name, a face or anything else that could identify you. Changed your mind? Tell your clinician or us and we will take the photos down. Under 16? Only a parent or guardian can tick this.

How we look after your privacy

The cover on screen is a typical shape; yours is made to fit you.
