Refund and fit support policy

LegStyle covers are custom-made products. Each cover is made for a specific person, prosthesis, style, colour, and order specification.

If something isn’t right, please get in touch

If a cover does not fit or work as intended, please contact us as soon as practical. Custom work sometimes needs adjustment, and our aim is to work with you and your clinician to resolve issues fairly and practically.

The specific policy is set out below.


1) Change of mind

Because LegStyle covers are made to order, we do not offer refunds or exchanges for change-of-mind purchases once the cover has been made.

Please check the selected style, colour, measurements, trimline choices, review renders, and order notes carefully before approval and manufacture.


2) Fit support

If you believe the cover does not fit as intended, please contact us as soon as practical with clear photos, details of the issue, and any relevant fitting information.

We will assess the issue and work with you and your clinician to find a practical solution. Depending on the cause, this may include fitting advice, an adjustment, a repair, a remake, or another appropriate remedy.

If the issue is due to an error on our side, or something we reasonably should have identified during review, we will put it right.

If the issue is caused by incomplete or inaccurate scan information, measurement information, order details, or later changes to the prosthesis, we will still try to help. However, additional work may be treated as an adjustment or a new order.


3) Review and approval

Where design review is selected, renders or design images are provided for approval before manufacture.

Approval helps confirm the intended style, shape, trimlines, and visible design features before the cover is made. Minor differences may still occur because each cover is manufactured as a physical custom product.


4) Faults or shipping damage

If your cover arrives with a manufacturing fault or visible shipping damage, please contact us as soon as practical, ideally within 7 days of delivery, with your order details and clear photos.

We will assess the issue and provide a repair, replacement, refund, or other appropriate remedy where required.


5) Normal use and care

LegStyle covers are designed for everyday use, including water exposure. Like any product, they still need reasonable care.

Damage caused by misuse, significant impact, cutting, modification, incorrect fitting, avoidable heat exposure, or failure to follow care guidance may not be covered as a fault.


6) Consumer law

This policy does not limit any rights you have under New Zealand consumer law, Australian Consumer Law, or any other consumer law that applies to your order.
